The fully automated central library with more than 30,000 books, a rich reference section , book bank and periodic national/ international journals provides best of opportunities to the knowledge seekers.

- The library and reading room shall remain opened from 9.00 A.M to 5.00P.M during working days of the college.
- Each borrower must examine the condition of the books at the time of issue, in case of mutilation discovered later, the presumption will be against the last borrower.
- No marking shall be made in library books. Breach of this rule shall be punished.
- In case of loss or damage of a volume / set , the borrower shall pay its value or replace it with a similar volume. When it belongs to a set or series , unless he can replace it, he shall pay the value of the set.
- It is mandatory for every borrower to return the books towards the end of each academic year for verification.
- The following is the list showing the maximum number of books that may be issued .
- Member of the teaching staff 15 books each
- Demonstrators 5 books each
- Office Assistants 2 books each
- Students of +3 classes 3 books each
- Students of +3 classes 2 books each
- Others staff members 1 books each
- Without the knowledge of the Head of the Department no book of the department shall be issued to members of the staff of other departments.
- Students can retain books borrowed by them for a period of seven days.
- Encyclopedia , dictionaries , rare books , reference books, magazines, journals, periodical shall not be issued for use at home without the special permission of the Principal.
- Books in the lending library and Bbook Banksshall only be issued only to the students of Larambha College.
- When date of return of books falls on a holiday the books shall be returned to the Library on the next working day.
- Students who do not return Library books in time are liable to pay a fine of Rs.5.00 per book per day.
- The Principal reserves the right to stop the issue of certain books to students without assigning any reason there of.
- A book kept by a member of the staff for more than 3 years will be treated as lost.
- No C.L.C. shall be issued without clearance from the Library.
- Any journal issued to a staff should be treated as a book if it is not returned within one month.
- Magazines are treated as non-journal and shall be issued for 7 to 15 days to members of the staff only.
- Seminars books shall be maintained by the H.O.D of the concerned department for a period of one session. Number of books in a seminar shall not be more than 80(eighty). The books are to be returned to the Central Library as and when the Librarian needs for verification.
